Some time ago, I looked at myself in the mirror and I realised I hated my physique!

I was fat, I was lazy, and I needed a massive change.

When you’re young and broke, there’s very few options for help at your fingertips — I couldn’t exactly afford a personal trainer. So I took to DIY’ing the best way I could.

On the face of it, that sounds fine, doesn’t it: if you eat more calories than you burn then your body stores them as fat.

But if you eat less calories than you burn, then your body burns fat instead.

But it’s not that perfect…

That’s because aggressively low-calorie diets will lower your metabolism, leading the body to decrease the number of calories you burn by up to 23%!

That means your body actually holds on to fat for longer.

 

It also means you’ll end up feeling tired, you’ll lack the nutrients you require, and could run the risk of becoming anaemic.

Well, that was a risk I was unwilling to take. And it’s a risk you shouldn’t take either if you’re longing to look slim, toned and fabulous WITHOUT making changes to your already hectic life.

It sounds impossible, no other popular diet or weight loss book is telling you this.
